Your Hosts- Paul and Carina Lewis
Transplanted Brits, we fell in love with The Cape while on vacation from England years ago. Our dream of living in the US became reality in 2002 and after 7 years of loving life on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, we headed to the Cape to fulfill the next step in our dream- to own a Bed and Breakfast. During our third season as innkeepers in June 2012 we were sworn in as US Citizens at Boston's historic Faneuil Hall
Paul’s skills in the kitchen continue to gather great reviews and although self taught, his delicious meals are well received (check out Trip Advisor!) A keen gardener, Paul loves nothing better than pottering in the grounds designing his next project or tinkering with his Land Rover 101. Paul’s interest in clocks and antiques, including items collected from years of diving adorn each of the Inn’s rooms and the gentle ticking of clocks can be heard in the lounge and dining room.
My work allows me to work from home and, when not travelling, I love to help Paul ensure our guests have the best experience of the Cape during their stay.
“Kipper” the cat is our shy, Mackerel Tabby who stays in the owners’ quarters and loves playing in the garden and supervising Paul’s projects. Tuppence is the latest feline addition to our family, she is a beautiful friendly and inquisitive Calico cat who adopted us in 2011.
