Information & Policies
The King’s Inne is open from April to November- should you wish to stay at the inn at other times, please call us to discuss.
Check in time is 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, please let us know if you plan to arrive at a different time so we can plan to be here to welcome you.
Check out time is 11 am.
All rates are per room based on double occupancy and include a full breakfast. As we have only 3 suites, we do not need to charge our guests state or lodging tax; this saves you 11.7% on each booking.
A minimum of 1 night's deposit is required to guarantee your reservation. The deposit, which will be credited against your stay, will be processed within 1 week of making the reservation. The balance is due on your arrival.
Once reserved your room is guaranteed for the duration of your stay. Regardless of deposit, guests are responsible for the total balance of the nights reserved.
There is a minimum stay of 2 nights and a 3 night minimum is required on holiday weekends. Occasionally we are able to accommodate a 1 night stay so please call us to discuss. A nominal $30.00 charge may apply to cover the room turnover expense.
We are a small inn and cancellations affect us significantly; if you find you need to cancel or change your booking, please let us know at least 14 days in advance of your arrival. Your deposit will be refunded less a service charge of $30.00. Should you need to cancel or change your booking less than 14 days in advance we will refund your deposit (minus a $30.00 service charge) provided we have rebooked your suite.
Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted as are debit cards, cash and travelers checks.
The state of Massachusetts prohibits smoking in any public places, therefore our inn and areas close to the inn are non smoking.
We regret that our Bed and Breakfast is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
Sorry, although we love our furry friends we are unable to accommodate pets, however we will be happy to refer a local kennel.
Although they stay in the our quarters, and the garden, we want our guests to be aware that we do have two cats, called Kipper and Tuppence, in case of extreme allergies.
The King’s Inne is eco friendly. In order to reduce our carbon footprint, we make every effort to recycle all plastic, metals, paper and card. All vegetable and fruit matter, along with garden waste is composted. Wood and brush is burnt in the Spring and the ashes consigned to compost. In the fall the compost feeds our garden and is “dug in” the following Spring, providing a naturally blooming garden for our guests to enjoy.
Natural cleaning products are used wherever possible and laundry is done in cold water, using high efficiency detergents, reducing chemical usage, protecting the septic system and reducing utility bills.
